Hi! I’m Elisa and it’s great to have you here! Now, if you’re thinking, ‘The woman behind this website must be a Super Mum’, then I’m sorry to disappoint you.

I’m not a super mum. I can’t do it all.

And it took me a pretty long time to figure this one out, I’ll tell ya!

A Little Bit About Me

You see, if we met in real life, you’d probably think I was a super mum. I’m a professional singer, I homeschool my three kids, I’m very active in my church community, I cook almost all of our meals from scratch…. oh! and I’ve written a book and run a blog.

So, on the surface, this might all look very impressive.

But here’s the truth:

I don’t do them all at the same time.

Believe me, I’ve actually tried. And when you’re involved in a lot of things and trying to do them all at the same time, things are gonna get dropped. #factoflife

The key (to doing anything really), is to just focus on what matters most.

I’ve spent years studying productivity because I was convinced that if I could just learn to do something faster or more efficiently, then I could get more things done!

But getting more things done is just a recipe for burnout.

I want to get the important things done. The things that really matter in my life, in my faith and in my family. The things that matter most.

I want to say goodbye to the hamster wheel of getting things done and say hello to the hammock of intentional living.

Some of my likes

I LOVE the Bible, girly pretty things, books, movies, stationery and Jazz! And I also love to bake and cook and generally eat scrumptious meals!! (Who doesn’t right??)

I enjoy gardening, Neals Yard products, beautiful stationery (had to mention this twice!) and warm summer days and nights! I’m a general life enthusiast and I find it hard to say no to new opportunities!

I love singing and travelling. And I love travelling when I sing. 😉 I’ve been to some amazing places and met some lovely people on my travels.

I’m a HUGE productivity geek. And I also like budgeting….and libraries….(#geeksoftheworldunite)!

Right now, I can’t get enough of the TV show Brooklyn 99. And I’m often heard quoting from it!

I love a good Rioja wine. And a box of Ferrero Rocher will last me about half a day! Somebody needs to make me a T-shirt that says ‘#NutellaOnEverything’. And I’ve got a thing for stinky French cheeses. Yes, the hold-yer-nose kind!

So that about sums up my likes!
